The new Scarf for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is a subtle upgrade on the thin and sleek case our customers have come to know and love. The iPhone 7 itself has a number of new features and the Scarf is made to accommodate them all without straying from its initial design or purpose of providing extra protection while remaining as low profile as possible. Our thinnest iPhone case remains incredibly slim and now offers the following three new features.
Fully Enclosed Bottom
The original Scarf iPhone case had an open bottom that allowed the speakers, lightning port, and headphone jack to breathe without any interference. The new version is now completely enclosed with precisely aligned cut-outs for the lightning port and speakers. Despite the closed bottom, all iPhone accessories will still work seamlessly with the case.
Why the change? Increased drop protection, better grip and more comfortable to hold.
The Scarf now has 3 distinct cutouts for the rear camera lens, microphone, and flash. Since the rear-facing camera protrudes from the back of the device, the Scarf is now designed to accommodate this by contouring around the camera lens which keeps the area safely recessed beneath its protective shell.
Why the change? Your camera will no longer rest directly on the table when laying down, which offers additional protection from scratches.
This change is almost unnoticeable to the naked eye but the Scarf now has tiny, 1mm cuts around the rim of the bottom corners of the case.
Why the change? This makes it easier than ever to slip the case off and on without stretching or misshaping of the material. So if you’re switching your outfit last minute and want your Scarf to match, you can now swap to a more appropriate color in seconds.
